In 2018 we started working with Reveal Markets, a platform designed to allow its clients to manage the sales of tickets for events in the leading marketplaces in the United States.

The client already had a Python Flask platform, but needed to migrate the code to Django’s last version, an open code web development framework, written in Python .
The client was so satisfied with the initial work that they chose to keep working together, and work with us to expand the functionalities of the tool, with the objective of allowing them to manage sales with new reports, and campaigns to get new users and integrations with other marketplaces.
What does the team look like? To migrate the platform, we set up a team of 2 developers and one UX designer, who grew professionally and worked in the project until it was completed.
When we started our work, they were present in 5 recognized marketplaces, such as SeatGeek and TicketMaster, using Web Scraping. Our objective, after the migration, was to help them double that amount and replace Web Scraping with an API whenever possible, so that the data collected could be more precise.
A few months after migrating to Django, the client had the integration with over 12 marketplaces with all their functionalities, 60% of them using its API for data collection and management.
